Hello!
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our community! At Friends Community Church of Midway City, our goal is to be a community of “Friends of Jesus and Family Together.” We seek to be a people that work together as witnesses of the light of the good news of Jesus Christ, in both word and deed. Our mission is to embody and carry on the mission of Jesus to “bind up the brokenhearted,” to set the oppressed free, and to declare the good news of God’s Kingdom (Luke 4:18). We want to be a community of light that shines in the darkness, as a living testimony that God cares for people and wants to change our world for the better.
We currently have two weekly events for meeting together. On Sunday’s at 11:30AM, we have our meeting for Worship and Fellowship. This is a time of singing, sharing our concerns in prayer, testifying, and hearing and responding to God’s Word as recorded in Scripture, followed by an informal time of coffee and fellowship, where we encourage and build each other up. On Wednesday’s at 7:00PM, we have a more in-depth Bible Study on a particular book or theme in the Bible, and again, enjoy each others’ company! In addition, we also have monthly community outreach events connect with, and hopefully to bless, our local community.
